课程内容与要求（300字内）

本课程是机械类和近机械类专业必修的学科基础课程，本课程主要内容包括机械零件毛坯的制造方法及毛坯设计时的结构工艺性问题，同时还包括机械加工方法的特点及各种加工方法对机械零件的工艺性要求。学生学完本课程应达到下列基本要求：1）了解常用工程材料常识，并能根据金属力学性能指标初步选择金属材料；2）了解铸件、锻件、焊接结构等毛坯挂的成型原理和工艺过程，初步具有选择毛坯的能力；3）了解切削加工成型原理，初步具有选择切削加工工艺和编制切削加工工艺过程的能力；4）了解零件结构的各种工艺性知识，初步具有确定工艺性比较合理的结构的能力。

本课程的特点是：

　　1.本课程是一门有关机械零件制造方法及其用材的综合性技术基础课，是一门实践性、应用性和综合性很强的课程；2.本课程包含了铸造、压力加工、焊接、切削加工等加工方法的原理、工艺特点及其对零件结构工艺性的要求等多门学科的专业知识，基本概念、原理规律多，理论计算少，与实际工程联系密切；3.本课程的授课对象为机械类各专业，并且可辐射材料学科的相关专业。

The  Technics of Metal course is a compulsory subject for machinery and mechanical  engineering, this course mainly includes mechanical parts manufacturing  method of blank and the structural manufacturability problems when the blank design,  the characteristics of the machining methods and all kinds of processing  method on mechanical parts manufacturability requirements. Students should  reach the following basic requirements: 1) understand the commonly used  engineering materials common sense, and can choose according to the  preliminary metal mechanics performance index of metal materials;2) know the  structure of casting, forging, welding, such as blank forming principle and  technological process of hanging, preliminary have the ability to select  blank;3) understand the machining molding principle, preliminary selection  cutting processing technology and the ability to prepare the machining  process;4) parts of the structure of the various manufacturability knowledge,  preliminary has the ability of manufacturability more reasonable structure.
